Bestwig Citizens' and Town Hall: Additional opening hours for local elections

Bestwig. In view of the local elections on 14 September, the electoral office of the municipality of Bestwig is offering additional opening hours: On Saturday, 6 September, citizens can apply for postal voting documents in person from 10 am to 12 noon at the Citizens' and Town Hall. To take advantage of this opportunity, you must bring the polling card that you received by post. It is then also possible to vote directly at the town hall.

Anyone applying for a postal vote on behalf of someone else must prove that they are authorised to do so. This is possible by submitting a written authorisation. The municipality of Bestwig asks for your understanding that, due to legal requirements, postal voting documents may only be handed out in person. Applications by telephone are therefore also not possible.
