Be "live" with the election results - in the citizens' hall or on the homepage

Bestwig. "Be there live" when the results of the local elections come in - this is possible in two ways on election night in the municipality of Bestwig: firstly online at www.bestwig.de on the Internet and secondly in the large citizens' hall of the town hall. The municipality of Bestwig will once again be offering this tried and tested service on 14 September to provide first-hand information on the outcome of the local elections in NRW on Sunday.

When the polling stations close at 6 pm, the presentation of the results from the constituencies of the municipality on the Ruhr, Valme and Elpe will begin on a large screen in the large citizens' hall. From 6.30 pm, the electoral office will present the first results from the local constituencies. Mayor Ralf Péus invites all interested citizens to experience "democracy live" at this point.

On 14 September, as in all municipalities in NRW, those entitled to vote in the municipality of Bestwig will decide who will represent them on the municipal council and district council in future and who will hold the offices of mayor and district administrator for the next five years.

The municipality of Bestwig also provides ongoing information on the current results on its website www.bestwig.de via a special link to the municipal service provider Südwestfalen-IT. Interested parties can not only see the results for the municipality as a whole, but also how the voters in the individual electoral districts have decided.
